Delaware State Fair officials are conducting meetings today with
E-Tickets Software Inc., to discuss what happened when 120
ticket-buyers purchased 12,000 tickets erroneously last week on the
E-Tickets Web site.
Were meeting to discuss the discrepancies, and going through details
of the last couple of weeks to make sure were all on the same page in
regard to the 120 people, said Danny Aguilar, director of marketing
and publicity for the fair.
Aguilar said E-Tickets has refunded all of the money, and that the
fair made sure that the 120 ticket-buyers obtained seats close to the
area where they thought they were purchasing. We have spoken to each
individual and what concert and seats, and we are in the process of
honoring the orders.
Aguilar said there was no chance E-Tickets would be used again this
year.
Were moving forward without them this year, he said.
